- Go to the library home page
- Click on Databases A-Z
- Click on N
- Click on New York Times - Times Machine Archive
- Enter the date of the obituary in the Select an Issue Box
- Click on View in Times Machine
- Click on Search Archive at top of page
- Type in the name of the person whose obituary you are looking for
- Click on Search
