Q. Can I upload a DVD into Bridges for my students to view?
Dean of Law School wanted a DVD uploaded to Bridges so that his students could access the content. He was able to obtain copyright permission from the publisher.
You cannot upload a DVD into Bridges unless you obtain permission from the copyright holder of the content. Just because you own a copy of the DVD does not make you the copyright holder. This is normally the publisher.
